Research: Blog Post 8: Back to the future title sequence analysis.

What type of title sequence is it?

- In "Back To The Future", the title sequence starts with a mid shot of the clock and slowly makes it's way through one of the charatcters room, most probably one of the main characters room. This is called a panning shot as the camera doesnt stop recording, it keeps recording and moves around the room so that the audience can see how empty and dirty the room is, this could make the audience quenstion, "whos room is this?". This shot also makes the audience drawn to it as the shot shows weird techonology machines doing everyday thoings instead of a human being. The whole title sequence is slow, as the credits come up slowly, like 30 slow seconds after each credit/title. There is only one sound coming from the shot and it is from the radio, this is called a diagetic sound as you can hear and see where it is coming from. The radio and TV are talking about how someone has stolen something important that could blow up, this could make the audience more intrigued by giving them a hint of what the movie could be about.
